About me

Hi. My name is Matthias Trummer and I work as a Experience Designer & Product Developer at Notch Interactive AG Unic AG IT Xpert AG (a tech company focussing on product development) in Zurich Schöftland, Switzerland. I started my "career" 25+ years ago in print design and headed for the web industry soon after.

Besides my day job, I do freelance work with a focus on user experience design and product development, studied Human Computer Interaction Design at the University of Basel and the Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, Data Science at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, helped creating the content of the CAS in Frontend Engineering (I also taught some of the modules as a lecturer) and spent a couple of years establishing the Front Conference (Zurich, Switzerland) – Switzerland's leading event on webdesign, frontend and UX – as the wonderful event it had become.
